EIU Viewpoint: Harnessing Economic Intelligence Online
EIU Viewpoint is an online research and analysis platform from The Economist that presents daily insights spanning global politics, economics, and market-moving topics, including macroeconomic data on forecasts, country-level social and political analysis, as well as historical trends.
This session will include discussion around the following topics:
- Navigating EIU Viewpoint
- Locating and dissecting EIU Country data and reports
- Industry Coverage
- Global Topics/Themes
- Setting Alerts
- Customizing views on specific Countries/Regions
Access to EIU Viewpoint requires an OpenAthens account. Request an account if you don’t already have one. This training will be recorded and will be viewable later on this page.

Joining via the Teams app will provide the best experience, but it is not required; users may also choose to join by browser (Teams is compatible with Chrome and Edge browsers).
