The Economist Intelligence Unit’s Lead for Global Trade Nick Marro, will discuss the EIU global trade outlook for 2020 and beyond. Topics will include:

  • The EIU’s forecast for the US-China trade war, including EIU’s expectations for the dispute to migrate away from just merchandise trade;
  • EIU outlook for emerging trade issues in other parts of the globe, including the conflict between South Korea and Japan, US-EU relations as well as EIU’s predictions on future US trade actions;
  • EIU economic outlook for major markets, including China, East Asia/ASEAN, the US and the Eurozone, and what this means for the future of international trade.

Visiting the Library for the first time?

The Commerce Research Library is located in the northwest corner of the building on the first floor, directly below the gym. It has two entrances. The entrance to the Reading Room (room 1894) can be accessed via the 8th corridor elevator at the north end of the building. The entrance to the Business Library (room 1984) can be accessed from the 6th corridor elevator.
