Secondary sources are a great place to begin your research. Learn how secondary sources can help jump start your research. Topics to be covered include:

  • Area-of-law and jurisdiction specific titles that provide expert analyses of the law and help you determine which cases, statutes and regulations you need.
  • Practice guides and forms, such as Bender’s Federal Practice Forms, that focus on providing you with the practical guidance and forms you need.
  • Specific titles, such as Moore’s Federal Practice and McGrady on Social Media, are recognized as top treatises in their respective fields – when you know the specific title, you can easily pull it up by name.
  • Area-of-law practice pages on Lexis provide you with curated lists of treatises by area of law.

Access requires a LexisNexis account. Request an account if you do not already have one. This training will be captioned. For captions please visit this page.
