D&B Investigate Training: Unlocking Business Intelligence Online
Introducing D&B Investigate—a powerful tool to take your company research to the next level. Like D&B Hoovers, Investigate offers comprehensive business information, but with expanded intelligence data and additional tools to give you greater insights into the entities you’re interested in.
This training session will cover an overview of the platform, highlight the key differences & use cases between D&B Hoovers and D&B Investigate, and provide a walkthrough of available data and functionality. D&B Investigate offers:
- Multiple views on corporate linkage
- Visual charts illustrating relationships and beneficial ownership (down to a 1% ownership)
- Creating and sharing Portfolios, and other new tools
- Current and former principals and contacts
- Maritime Shipping Data on shipper, consignee, requestor, and forwarder details
- Government contracting details on Awards (US), Exclusions (US), and Violations (US and Canada)
Access to D&B Investigate requires an OpenAthens library account. Request an account if you do not already have one. This training will be recorded and can be viewed later on this page.
For webinar help, check out our Webinar FAQs. The Library uses Microsoft Teams for all events. You may be prompted to download the Teams desktop app when joining the event. Joining via the Teams app will provide the best experience, but it is not required; users may also choose to join by browser (Teams is compatible with Chrome and Edge browsers).
